We need effective leaders today more than ever before. In fact, the root cause behind failed businesses and failed governments is usually either a lack of leadership or the presence of destructive or ineffective leadership. In this collection of dissertations on topics relevant to effective leadership, you'll be challenged to think. Along the way, you'll learn how to discover and clarify your mission, vision, and values; learn how to handle difficult people and situations; improve the performance of your people and teams; and communicate with coworkers, customers, and colleagues. You'll also learn about the leadership continuum and its gradations and how to find the action, behavior, or decision that balances as best as possible benefits with costs. Balance is getting something just right. However, since the world is always changing, the sweet spot is always changing too. What was in balance yesterday may not be today. Like riding a bicycle, we constantly need to monitor our positions and make adjustments to compensate for curves and bumps in the road. Make sound decisions, build better teams, communicate more effectively, be appropriately flexible, and be appropriately strong, with the lessons, examples, and insights in Balanced Leadership.

Myrna Barinaga left for the United States from the Philippines with her two small daughters. One of the girls had to have immediate open heart surgery to repair a serious congenital heart defect. Venita Mitchell
I was born Venita Mitchell in Pleasanton, California, the Bay area of Northern California, to Yahweh Ben Yahweh and Nodie Mae Mitchell. I am the 2nd oldest of the four children born in their marriage. Growing up, I developed a passion for reading and writing. As a child, I kept diaries, and as I got older, I often spoke of one day writing and having a strong desire to write books for children. As a writer I enjoy writing. To me it is like an art that comes natural that you learn how to master. It is a gift from Yahweh. Although I dreamed of writing children’s books, little did I know that the day would come that I would write my first book, and that book would be about my dad, The Honorable Yahweh Ben Yahweh. A

Hilary Sinclair
Hilary Sinclair is interested, like so many people today, in the crucial balance of body, mind and spirit and is still waiting for that integration! Exposure to intense spiritual pressure in a fundamentalist Christian Fellowship contributed to a severe mental breakdown in the eighties, which opened the gates to a more tranquil and contemplative life, where she derived much solace and inspiration from the works of St John of the Cross. Discovering Ken Wllber’s Integral (AQUAL) world view led to an unexpected expanded consciousness which gave her the courage to publish this small volume of poems. Hilary has an MA from the University Of Cambridge (England) 1963, and a Postgraduate Certificate Of Education (Bristol). It was here that an ongoing class in a leaderless group referencing the work of WR Bion, first sparked her interest in psychodynamic psychology and social interaction.
Jaheem R. Hilts
My name is Jaheem R.Hilts. I am accounted for having 12 to 13 years in Secret Societies, different organizations that I shouldn’t mention, since June – July 2007. When I wrote this book, I wanted to share it with The World, so I translated a section of it, into different languages. I want my readers to go into this book as a journey. Leave your biases where you pick the book up. I don’t want you to be unsatisfied. I plan to work on, delivering a 5th book in the future. This book can’t compare to the apple in The Garden of Eden. This book can help mold intelligent & smart people, whom haven’t taken the initial step, to delight in transformation. There is a lot to mediate and ponder on, in this book. Be at peace; be free to engage in self-development.

Safia B. Neal
Chess was taught to me by my Late father, David Franklin Neal, Sr. Over the years, chess became boring and I was searching for new styles of chess that were more interesting and complex. As a result of my efforts, I invented Advance 3-D Matrix Vector Logistics Chess which is an art form of chess played on several types of game board models. Each distinct model has its distinct rules and regulations for play. I am currently publishing several books on Model III, The Longitudinal Star Gate 14 Model. This space-aged model allows for the engagements of four (4) separate chess game sets all at the same instant. In other words, I may challenge four chess players instantaneously and spontaneously in a match; this means that I would have to CHECKMATE my opponent(s) at least the best of three out of four times to be declared the winner of the match. Each chess set has distinct color bands to distinguish one from the other.
I am attempting to raise the awareness of chess to higher levels of cognitive dynamics. My books allow chess readers who crave for hours of game entertainment to have mind-boggling and mind-baffling fun.
Lives on a farm in North Carolina with her husband and dog. She has two children and six grandchildren that live within walking distance. She has spent her whole life caring for others and finds that it is time to care for herself. To relax, she came across some Native American music by Alexandro Querevalú that inspired her to write about what is true love, and how nice it would be to live in a world without the stress we have today. She is currently spending less time at work, more time with her husband, loving on her grandchildren, and writing her next novel.

Poems designed to guide you on your evolutionary journey were enabled within me on my spiritual connection with the Universe one sunny Saturday morning of not too long ago. I set my intention asking Universe for more encouragement, love, and understanding in our daily lives. The Universe heard my declaration and gifted me with the ability to write the words infused in my mind and took form and became a reality.
The poems I wrote are presented in my collection of poetry have been with the intention to promote personal growth and elevating your spiritual growth. It is my hope you’ll read these poems with earnest reflection and consider how they apply to your past and present life.
